Home For Christmas - Susan Boyle

I am reviewing the album Home For Christmas by Susan Boyle which is very good. Susan came 2nd in Britain's Got Talent a few years ago and many thought she should have won. It's a talent show but differs from the X factor or American Idol in that the acts don't just sing. Anyway Demi Moore the actress heard her sing presumably on youtube and tweeted about it on twitter and all of a sudden she was a major pop star on both sides of the Atlantic. She has got a fantastic singing voice, one of the best you will ever hear. Anyway this new album is a collection of christmas songs as selected by her fans and is a mixture of carols and xmas pop songs. The best track is probably Greg Lake's I Believe In Father Christmas. I think the best cover version she ever did was Wild Horses which was originally a Rolling Stones song. In a way it's a shame all the songs are cover versions but it's still worth listening too.
